Job summary

Levy, the exclusive food, beverage, and retail partner at American Airlines Center in Dallas, seeks a culinary team member to join a high-volume venue. You will measure, portion, prepare ingredients, follow schedules, and maintain HACCP standards while delivering guest-focused service.

Minimum 1–2 years in a fast-paced kitchen, ServSafe or state-food handler cert, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility to work events, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years cooking in a high-volume kitchen.
• ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler certification.
• Knowledge of grilling, sautéing, frying, roasting; diverse cuisines.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service, organization and time management.
• English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Measure, portion, mix, assemble, bake, and prepare ingredients while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Follow production schedules and prepare appropriate quantities for event-day service.
• Label, date, rotate, store, and maintain food products per FIFO/HACCP and safety standards.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, temperatures, and portioning throughout preparation and production.
• Safely operate ovens, mixers, food processors, slicers, and other approved equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and storage areas.
• Assist with stocking, inventory, receiving, and organizing ingredients and supplies.
• Work collaboratively with chefs, supervisors, and culinary team members to meet needs.
• Perform additional culinary preparation and duties as assigned.
