Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and oversee daily operations as the Manager on Duty. You will ensure safety, merchandise presentation, and a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

The role requires supervising Associates, maintaining stockrooms, and executing company best practices to minimize loss and improve customer service. Evening and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and supervise Associates when Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Represent and support the Ross brand with professional appearance and conduct.
• Ensure merchandising standards, back stock cleanliness, and floor recovery.
• Lead frontline operations to maximize speed and accuracy at the registers.
