Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and supervise store operations when on duty. You will open and close the store, oversee Associates, and ensure a welcoming, well-merchandised shopping environment.

This role requires strong leadership, attention to safety, and the ability to execute company procedures. You will drive front-end efficiency, supervise loss prevention, training, and daily administrative tasks while upholding Ross standards and providing excellent

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experienc e preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as needed.
• Maintain a safe, secure shopping environment and loss-prevention practices.
• Ensure merchandise presentation is clean and on-brand.
• Train and coach front-end staff; supervise cash handling and registers.
• Handle payroll administration and other administrative duties as assigned.
