Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and oversee general operations when on duty. You will supervise Associates, ensure safe, clean shopping environments and maintain merchandise presentation according to company standards.

The role focuses on front-end supervision, loss prevention, and daily administrative duties, with an emphasis on coaching staff, upholding brand standards, and delivering excellent customer service within a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and secure store environment.
• Provide customer service with courtesy and professionalism.
• Supervise Associates and manage Front End operations.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, stockroom organization and back stock processing.
• Admin duties including payroll and scheduling as assigned.
