Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a store segment, supervise associates, and ensure safe, engaging shopping. You will maintain merchandise presentation, uphold company processes, and drive customer service on the sales floor.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to loss prevention practices while coaching staff on front-end operations and payroll tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Maintain safe and secure environments and respond to emergencies.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and front-end procedures.
• Manage payroll administration including daily punch edits and scheduling.
