Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to support store leadership across a defined area. You will open/close, supervise associates, ensure presentation and a clean environment, and uphold company standards in everyday operations.

You will also lead safety, customer service, and front-end activities, work with store leadership to drive merchandising, loss prevention, and store performance while coaching teams to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure sales floor and building environment.
• Supervises Associates and ensures proper execution of store operations.
• Represents the Ross brand with professionalism and maintains merchandising standards.
• Oversees front-end operations to maximize efficiency and customer service.
• Performs administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
