Job summary

Ross-Dress-For-Less is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and assist with general operations when acting as Manager on Duty. The role includes opening/closing the store, supervising Associates, maintaining a safe, clean, and merchandised environment, and executing company processes.

You will also lead frontline operations, coach staff on cash handling, manage stock and back rooms, and uphold loss prevention standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store; supervise Associates; ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Maintain safe and secure environment and proper merchandise presentation.
• Train and coach Associates on front-end procedures and cash handling.
• Manage stock, back rooms, and floor recovery per Company standards.
• Support payroll administration and other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
