Job summary

Ross Dress for Less is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a store section and oversee daily operations as the Manager on Duty. You will open/close the store, supervise associates, maintain presentation standards, and ensure a safe, easy-to-shop environment.

You will drive excellent customer service, enforce loss prevention practices, and coordinate front-end operations, merchandising, and back-room organization, while modeling Ross values and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication.
• Fluent English.
• Customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic math in retail environments.
• Availability evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates.
• Ensure merchandise is presented and stockrooms are organized.
• Maintain customer service standards and safety compliance.
• Enforce store policies, loss prevention, and end-of-day procedures.
• Train and coach associates on cash handling and front-end procedures.
• Supervise front-end operations and associate scheduling.
