Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. in Dublin, CA, seeks an Area Supervisor to lead a designated store area and oversee operations when the Store Manager is on duty.

You will supervise associates, ensure proper merchandising, and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, loss prevention, and adherence to company standards; training and coaching staff on cash registers and front-end procedures; and ensuring efficient front-end operations and customer service

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store; supervise associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and clean work area.
• Ensure safety, loss prevention, and compliance with company best practices.
• Train and coach associates on cash registers and front-end procedures.
• Manage breaks and ensure front-end efficiency.
