Job summary

Ross Stores in Dublin, CA, is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and oversee operations when the Manager on Duty is away. You will open/close the store, supervise associates, ensure proper merchandise presentation, maintain a clean, safe shopping environment, and execute company processes with accuracy.

Strong communication, supervisory experience, and familiarity with POS systems are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store; supervise associates.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean, welcoming environment.
• Execute and supervise company processes; maintain safety and loss prevention.
• Train and coach front-end staff on cash registers and procedures.
• Manage back-end tasks and stockroom organization as needed.
• Support the Store Manager and lead by example.
