Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and oversee operations when acting as Manager on Duty. You will supervise Associates, open/close the store, and ensure a friendly, well-merchandised shopping environment.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety, loss prevention, merchandising standards, and front-end processes. Prior supervisory and customer service experience are preferred; POS familiarity is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates when acting as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment with proper merchandise presentation.
• Ensure safety, security, and loss prevention procedures are followed.
• Train and coach associates on cash registers and front-end procedures.
• Assist with merchandise receiving, stocking, signing, and back-stock management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards.
