Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a defined area of the store and support Store Leadership in daily operations. You will open and close the store, supervise associates, and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment with proper merchandising.

Responsibilities include executing company processes, maintaining safety and loss prevention, and training front-end staff to ensure efficient service and stockroom organization. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates as needed.
• Maintain safe, secure environment and proper merchandising.
• Ensure front-end operations run smoothly and customer flow is efficient.
• Train and coach associates on cash registers and loss prevention.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
