Job summary

Ross Stores in Oklahoma City is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and assist Store Leadership with daily operations, merchandise presentation, and a safe, shopper-friendly environment.

You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, uphold company processes, and participate in loss prevention, front-end supervision, and administrative duties as directed by the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe, secure environments and adheres to safety procedures.
• Trains and coaches Associates on cash registers and Front End procedures.
• Supervises front-end operations, manages line pace, and assists with merchandising tasks.
• Responsible for loss prevention and maintaining store security measures.
• Performs administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
