Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our Store Leadership team in Chicago, IL. You will supervise a specific store area, open and close the store as Manager on Duty, and ensure a friendly, well-merchandised shopping environment.

You will lead front-end operations, train associates on cash handling, and uphold safety and loss prevention standards while delivering excellent customer service and merchandising execution.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as Manager on Duty.
• Supervise Associates and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean work area at all times.
• Execute Company Best Practices and maximize productivity.
• Lead loss prevention and ensure customer safety.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and front-end procedures.
