Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a designated section of the store. You will supervise Associates, open/close the store, and ensure merchandise is presented to brand standards.

You will uphold safety, training, and loss prevention protocols while delivering friendly, efficient customer service and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. Evening and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-merchandised store environment.
• Ensure a safe and secure shopping area and report unsafe conditions.
• Assist with front-end operations and cash handling as needed.
• Train and coach team members on store procedures and loss prevention.
