Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee an assigned store area and supervise operations when on duty. You will ensure opening/closing, staff supervision, and friendly, productive customer experiences while maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities include merchandise presentation, stockroom organization, back-stock processing, and adherence to safety and loss-prevention practices. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of the sales floor and store.
• Supervise associates and ensure proper merchandising.
• Open and close the store; manage front-end operations.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and cleanliness.
• Assist with stockroom organization and back-stock processing.
• Support loss prevention and protect confidential information.
