Mettler Toledo in Worcester, MA seeks an experienced Area Service Leader to head a roughly 12-person field service team. The role drives operational excellence, manages a P&L, and ensures compliant, high-quality service delivery across regulated industries.

You will partner with Sales and Operations to grow market share and customer value. The ideal candidate has 5+ years leading field-based teams, strong business acumen, and proven ability to improve efficiency while ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education/experience.
• 5+ years of leadership in field service, operations, or technical service.
• Experience leading field-based teams in regulated industries.
• Proven P&L management, cost control, and performance improvement.
• Experience serving customers in Pharma, Food & Beverage, Chemical Processing, or similar regulated environments.
• Strong business acumen and ability to use metrics to drive results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of about 12 field service professionals.
• Drive operational excellence through planning, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility including budgeting, forecasting, profitability and expenses.
• Improve service delivery through productivity, labor utilization and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and actions to meet operational and financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as the escalation point.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to identify growth and expand market share.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and talent development.
