Job summary

Mettler-Toledo International, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the regional support team and drive outstanding sales performance. This role ensures our Field Sales Specialists are developed into a core element of the business area and that the region operates as an effective selling organization across key accounts.

The candidate will lead through coaching, set strategies, monitor performance and promote product knowledge across the team to maximize sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four year college or equivalent experience required.
• 5 to 10 years relevant sales experience.
• Direct Leadership experience.
• Skilled at building and maintaining long-term relationships, coalitions, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Achieve region targets for sales, margin and KPIs.
• Lead direct reports with a leadership style that helps them succeed.
• Measure sales progress and support regional business area strategies and budgets.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge for all products within the team.
• Monitor product and application know-how; identify weaknesses and ensure improvements.
• Promote generation of leads across MT product line.
• Liaise with other business areas/divisions to leverage regional opportunities.
