Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive a high-performance customer/Builder network and manage strategic relationships within the assigned territory.

You will negotiate commercial and supply agreements, develop product pricing and training, and work to increase market share and profitability. Experience in executive level selling and knowledge of the construction industry are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience; 5 years of technical sales experience.
• Preferred: Executive level selling; construction industry knowledge.
• Proven ability to read construction drawings and develop customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of a high performance customer/Builder organization within the territory.
• Establish and grow relationships to maximize market share and financial results.
• Negotiate commercial and supply agreements with key customers.
• Develop product, pricing, training and procedures with customers/Builders.
