Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the designated territory in a fully remote capacity.

You will build relationships with customers/builders, negotiate agreements, and expand market share while aligning with our sales strategy. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree (or 4 additional years of relevant experience) and at least 5 years in technical sales or product knowledge; executive selling experience and construction industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 5 years of technical sales experience or product knowledge.
• Experience in executive level selling is preferred.
• Basic understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of a high-performance customer/Builder organization focused on achieving product and service sales goals within the territory.
• Establish and develop customer relationships to build a strong customer/Builder organization.
• Develop effective customers/Builders to achieve market share coverage to maximize financial results.
• Increase business performance through customer/Builder relationships, with focus on product, pricing, training, and procedure.
