Eaton is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Baton Rouge, LA or Metairie, LA to lead a sales team across Power Distribution and Control Services. You will grow market share by managing customer relationships and distributor channels, while guiding strategic pricing and product positioning.

You will analyze market trends, forecast sales, and present results to senior leadership. Travel up to 25% and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and Eaton distributors to close deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years electrical industry sales/marketing and/or engineering experience.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned customer base to increase sales in the local market.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance to customers.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to stress value-added upgrades while achieving maximum profit margin and ensuring optimum customer satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with client representatives responsible for making purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate and present bids and quotations following company price and delivery guidelines.
