Job summary

Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure division is seeking a Regional Application Engineer to support electrical consultants, designers, end users and specifiers in the Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or Lafayette markets. This remote role offers relocation within the United States and up to 50% travel.

The salary range is $115,000 to $168,000 per year with eligibility for a variable incentive program. Responsibilities include leading pre-sale technical support for Crouse-Hinds and B-Line products,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of electrical sales experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Eaton electrical product experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sale application and technical support for Crouse-Hinds and B-Line series products with related consulting firms in assigned sales geographies.
• Provide strategic technical leadership and mentoring in support of the sales teams in the assigned sales geographies.
• Conduct product seminars and training on Crouse-Hinds and B-Line series products and solutions to consultants, specifiers, end users, channel partners, and sales engineers.
• Work with product lines on the development of tools and literature focused on system designers and provide voice-of-customer input to drive product development.
• Provide technical application support on target projects including drawing reviews, contributions to sales pursuit strategies, and interface with stakeholders in design and specification of electrical infrastructure systems.
• Assist customers with design-build opportunities, specification reviews, lighting audits, and other consultative activities.
