Job summary

Flowers Bakeries has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director in Merrillville, IN. You will support DSD sales and Independent Distributors, manage customer relationships, grow the customer base, and identify new selling opportunities while tracking sales data.

You will collaborate with the Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze market opportunities and adjust strategies, using digital tools to show wins and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD sales and IDs; manage relationships and grow the customer base.
• Engage in sales activities, seek new opportunities, and track sales data.
• Build/maintain relationships with key accounts to ensure display execution.
• Use digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze opportunities and adjust strategies.
