Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is hiring an Area Sales Director to support Direct Store Delivery (DSD) sales and Independent Distributors. You will manage key accounts, build relationships, and track sales data to grow the customer base and optimize promotions and in-market display execution.

You will collaborate with a Market Vice President and Sales Enablement to analyze opportunities and adjust strategies based on consumer insights to maximize sales. 21+ with a valid license and DOT card preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Manage customer relationships and grow the customer base.
• Seek new selling opportunities and track sales data.
• Show execution wins and opportunities for growth using digital tools.
• Analyze market opportunities to maximize sales with the Sales Enablement team.
