Job summary

The Area Property Manager (APM) at Eureka Multifamily Group oversees the operations of multiple affordable housing properties, including advertising vacancies, negotiating leases, and enforcing leases. The role ensures regulatory compliance (Section 42, HUD 4350, LURA) and maintains properties within budget; the APM oversees up to three properties in a designated area.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8, and HUD experience.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college is a plus.
Certified Occupancy Specialist Certifications (may be obtained within one year of hire).
Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with LIHTC, HUD regulations and LURA and/or state/federal requirements.
Supports Property Manager and Regional Property Manager to maintain properties per Eureka Standards.
Ensures EIV is maintained according to Company Policy.
Assists with revenue collection and posting per company policy.
Trains onsite staff to achieve operational goals.
Assists with audits to ensure lease files are complete and documents are executed correctly.
Performs on-site exterior/interior inspections to maintain Eureka standards.
Travel 50% of the time or more.
Walks properties to inspect units and grounds; addresses issues promptly.
Other duties as assigned.
