Job summary

Lozier is hiring an Area Manager to oversee a designated production area, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale targets. You will lead supervisors and production staff, coach lean practices, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

You will monitor KPIs, manage scheduling, and partner with support functions to optimise labor and equipment utilisation in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor preferred for advanced roles in manufacturing.
• Minimum years of supervisory experience in warehouse or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with change-management ability.
• Experience applying SQDCM, lean methods, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of supervisors and frontline staff to meet targets.
• Monitor safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale across the production area.
• Coach teams on lean tools, problem solving, and process standardisation.
• Analyze real-time data and KPIs to drive improvements and reduce waste.
• Plan workforce and scheduling to optimise labour and equipment use.
• Collaborate with support functions to implement cost-saving initiatives.
