Job summary

Lozier Corporation, based in Omaha, Nebraska, seeks an Operations Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing across multiple production areas, driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale with a culture of continuous improvement.

You will translate plant objectives into KPI-driven plans, supervise managers, optimize scheduling, champion lean initiatives like 5S and Kaizen, and ensure integration of SCADA, ERP, and MES to support real-time decisions and performance tracking across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, operations, or related field (8+ years).
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing/operations if non-degreed.
• At least 3 years in a multi-team or area leadership role.
• Proficient PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong leadership, analytical, change management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments using SQDCM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support managers and supervisors to achieve daily and long-range targets for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale (SQDCM).
• Translate plant objectives into actionable plans aligned with KPIs and strategic growth.
• Foster a high-performance culture with continuous improvement and accountability.
• Oversee workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation for optimal utilization.
• Champion lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen) to reduce waste and costs.
• Monitor OEE and address root causes of downtime and scrap.
• Ensure integration of SCADA, ERP, MES for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
• Lead readiness and adoption of automated systems (ASRS) to improve logistics and material flow.
• Drive safety compliance and a zero-incident culture; support APQP and quality processes.
