Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to lead a production area, driving daily output, quality, and safety while coaching hourly teams and team leaders. The role manages staffing, scheduling, and training, and runs daily SQDC board reviews with a focus on kaizen and continuous improvement.

The position requires Lean manufacturing experience, 3+ years of supervisory work, and a track record of achieving daily targets in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required).
• 3+ years manufacturing experience supervising hourly production teams.
• 3+ years Lean Manufacturing, standard work, 5S and daily management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a production area or shift to meet daily output, quality, safety and cost targets.
• Coach and develop hourly production teams and team leaders.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, attendance, and training for the area.
• Run daily tiered management using SQDC boards and rapid problem-solving.
• Enforce standard work, 5S, layered process audits and OSHA safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Materials, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve line issues.
