Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead lean initiatives across Safety/5S, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) to improve profitability. You will direct cross-functional teams, monitor SQDC metrics, and drive daily improvements while maintaining standard work and teaching cross-training.

Strong leadership and communication are required to motivate a winning team and ensure on-time customer order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent in experience.
• Two years of demonstrated experience leading a team in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills; effective written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility, results orientation, and commitment to promote and achieve business goals are essential.
• Four plus years of supervisory experience in a production or similar environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manages customer orders to insure proper fulfillment.
• Insures that all required resources are present to produce the required output.
• Communicates progress toward order fulfillment.
• Manages for daily improvement and establishes a lean vision for processes.
• Posts and monitors SQDC measurements to provide visual trend of progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Interviews, hires and trains employees.
