Amazon.com Services LLC in New Jersey is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff and ensure safety, quality, attendance and performance while meeting customer delivery promises. The role covers First/Middle/Last mile workflows and site variations, with opportunity for professional growth across fulfillment sites.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of people management experience, a relevant degree, and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with varying noise and temperatures, including outside loading areas.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
