Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in New Jersey is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a mixed team of salaried and hourly staff. You will ensure safety, quality, attendance, and performance while driving productivity through data-driven decisions.

The role covers First/ Middle/ Last mile concepts with site and regional impact, offering growth as multiple new fulfillment sites open annually. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, with flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift
• Work in a variable-temperature environment including outside loading areas
• Climb and descend stairs where applicable
