Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and ensure safety, quality, attendance, and on-time deliveries. You will engage the team during shifts to meet customer expectations and drive performance across all workflow stages: First Mile, Middle Mile, and Last Mile.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise.
