Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a designated store area and oversee daily operations in Omaha. You will supervise associates, manage opening/closing, and ensure a welcoming, merchandised shopping environment.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication skills.
Fluency in English.
Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Open and close the Store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment.
Ensure proper merchandise presentation and keep a clean work area.
Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
Maintain safe, secure store operations and protect assets.
Train and coach Associates on front-end procedures and cashier operations.
Coordinate stockroom, signing, and back-stock management.
