Job summary

Local Garage Doors is seeking an Area Manager to own market performance across California, Nevada, and Arizona. Lead field teams, optimize revenue, customer experience, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced home services environment.

You will mentor technicians and installers, manage budgets, supervise recruitment, and coordinate with HR to develop talent. Travel across the region is required, with hands-on leadership and a focus on measurable results.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum of managerial experience in a field team environment.
• Background in home service industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing) preferred.
• Experience with field service management software such as ServiceTitan is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Market Management: own overall performance and profitability of the assigned market.
• Team Leadership: provide oversight and guidance to technicians, installers, and warehouse staff.
• Recruitment and Development: drive recruiting, onboarding, and development in collaboration with HR.
• Operational Oversight: manage budget tracking and payroll accuracy; oversee fleet performance.
• Customer Relations: monitor reviews, address feedback, and support complex technician calls.
