Job summary

Nova Talent Solutions is seeking a Field Installation Manager to lead high-volume commercial door and gate service operations across the Greater Sacramento area. The role blends troubleshooting, estimating, crew scheduling, parts coordination, and customer communication to keep field work moving and service quality high.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial door and gate service, installation, or field operations.
• Hands-on commercial door experience in commercial environments rather than residential-only work.
• Experience with 3-4+ of the following systems: automatic doors, storefront doors, hollow metal doors, solid core/wood doors, overhead doors, dock equipment, and gates/gate operators.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently in the field or over the phone.
• Experience running estimates, coordinating service work, and managing multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations across 10-20 active service jobs.
• Troubleshoot issues in the field and remotely support technicians by phone.
• Run service estimates and scope job requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule 1-2 person installation/service crews.
• Source parts, materials, and equipment needed for repairs and installs.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects moving.
• Support compliance with safety and industry standards, including ADA and fire code requirements.
• Partner closely with leadership during a 6-month training period.
