Key Responsibilities
- Market Management
- Own the overall performance and profitability of the assigned market.
- Drive revenue growth, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Analyze market performance and implement action plans for improvement.
- Team Leadership
- Provide direct oversight and guidance to technicians, installers, and warehouse personnel.
- Lead performance management through coaching, development plans, and team recognition.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and daily operational check-ins.
- Recruitment and Development
- Drive recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding in collaboration with HR.
- Develop apprentices into technicians and identify future leaders within the team.
- Operational Oversight
- Manage budget tracking and profit & loss oversight for your market.
- Audit employee timecards and ensure payroll accuracy.
- Oversee fleet performance and collaborate with the fleet team.
- Customer Relations
- Monitor customer review platforms and respond to feedback promptly.
- Take ownership of customer escalations and provide hands-on support for complex technician calls.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of managerial experience in a field team environment.
- Background in the home service industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with field service management software, such as ServiceTitan, is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
Schedule
Full-time availability is required, with flexibility to assist with urgent operational or staffing issues as needed. Travel throughout the assigned market is required, with occasional overnight travel for training or meetings.
