Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Hub Area Manager to oversee the sort activities and volume within an assigned area at a company-operated facility in Logan Township, NJ. This onsite role requires leadership, problem solving, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a starting base salary in the described range, with potential for higher compensation based on performance and tenure. Flexibility to cover 24/7 operations is expected.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required, BA/BS college degree in related discipline preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience – (logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Ability to evaluate and summarize data and present answers clearly.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and math skills.
• Effective communication including giving constructive feedback.
• Experience hiring, training, motivating and evaluating employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area.
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and keep employees informed of daily goals and safety priorities.
• Record and manage departures/arrivals and flow of volume from Linehauls.
• Execute administrative duties including safety training and end-of-shift reporting.
