OnTrac in Hamilton Township, NJ is seeking an Area Manager to oversee sort activities and lead a team in a fast-paced, safety-conscious facility. You will drive performance, coach staff, and identify improvement opportunities to enhance operational outcomes.

The role demands at least 2 years in logistics/3PL with demonstrated leadership, a GED or diploma, and a preference for a BA/BS degree. Strong data skills and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; BA/BS college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in logistics/shipping/3PL with at least 1 year in leadership.
• Ability to evaluate data and present answers clearly.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication, feedback, and people management abilities.
• Experience in hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff, and schedule a team of handlers in an assigned facility area.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback, and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals and safety priorities.
• Record and manage flow of volume from designated Linehauls.
• Execute safety training, audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
