Job summary

OnTrac in Hamilton, NJ is seeking a Branch Area Manager to lead a team, oversee sort activities, and drive operational improvements.

You will report to the facility Operations Manager, manage a team of Package Handlers and Lead Handlers, and ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2 years logistics leadership, strong data skills, and a commitment to a flexible schedule to support 24-hour operations.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required, BA/BS degree in related discipline preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of logistics/3PL experience with at least 1 year in leadership
• Ability to evaluate and summarize data and present answers
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills
• Effective communication and feedback delivery
• Experience with hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating staff

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals and safety priorities
• Record and manage departures/arrivals and flow of volume for designated Linehauls
• Perform safety training, operational audits, and end-of-shift reporting
