Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking an Area Merchandising Manager to drive compliance of merchandising processes, coach sales teams, and manage vendor relationships across multiple locations in Indiana and nearby markets.

You will partner with District Managers to optimize performance, ensure brand standards, and lead through influence in a multi-unit environment. The role demands strong communication, budgeting insight, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a district restaurant management position.
• 2+ years deciphering and impacting budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years leading through influence in a multi-unit setting.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
• Conduct regular quarterly visits and weekly conference calls for each location.
• Collaborate with the District Manager(s) to effectively manage employee turnover and retention. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, assist in development and succession planning of team members.
• Identify areas of opportunity on monthly, weekly, and daily reports and implement plans to correct any issues and improve performance.
• Recognize and resolve customer feedback by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.
• Responsible for protecting company assets with various audit processes and ensure that all cash handling and Love’s policies and procedures are followed by all employees.
