Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking an Area Merchandising Manager to drive merchandising compliance, coaching, and vendor relations across multiple locations.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, budget oversight, and strategic store performance in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. The position requires 2+ years in district restaurant management, budget and P&L impact, and multi-unit leadership, with emphasis on accountability, coaching, and delivering results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a district restaurant management position required.
• 2+ years deciphering and impacting budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years leading through influence in a multi-unit setting.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
• Conduct regular quarterly visits and weekly conference calls for each location.
• Collaborate with the District Manager(s) to manage turnover and retention, recruitment, training, evaluation, and succession planning of team members.
• Identify areas of opportunity on monthly, weekly, and daily reports and implement plans to correct issues and improve performance.
• Resolve customer feedback by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.
• Protect company assets with audit processes and ensure cash handling policies are followed.

The Area Merchandising Manager will help run our business by driving compliance of merchandising processes and procedures, sales coaching, and managing vendor relations.

Job Functions:

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a district restaurant management position required.
• 2+ years deciphering and impacting budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years leading through influence in a multi-unit setting.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
