Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking an Area Merchandising Manager to drive merchandising processes, coach sales teams, and manage vendor relations across multiple locations.

The role focuses on maintaining brand standards, improving performance, and ensuring compliance across districts. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in district restaurant leadership, strong P&L experience, and proven ability to influence multi-unit teams.

Competenze

• Minimum 2+ years in district restaurant management.
• 2+ years budgeting and managing P&L statements.
• 2+ years leading through influence in multi-unit settings.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks may be required (DOT if applicable).

The Area Merchandising Manager is a critical element to the success of our long-term business strategy. The Area Merchandising Manager will help run our business by driving compliance of merchandising processes and procedures, sales coaching, and managing vendor relations.

Job Functions:

• Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
• Conduct regular quarterly visits and weekly conference calls for each location.
• Collaborate with the District Manager(s) to effectively manage employee turnover and retention. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, assist in development and succession planning of team members.
• Identify areas of opportunity on monthly, weekly, and daily reports and implement plans to correct any issues and improve performance.
• Recognize and resolve customer feedback by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.
• Responsible for protecting company assets with various audit processes and ensure that all cash handling and Love’s policies and procedures are followed by all employees.

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a district restaurant management position required.
• 2+ years deciphering and impacting budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years leading through influence in a multi-unit setting.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

• Exceptional customer service, positive rapport building, expert salesmanship, and ensuring satisfaction by managing operations and employee-vehicle deployment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

• Ability to navigate various computer programs, systems, and technology tools as part of daily operations.
• Must be able to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.
