Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
• Conduct regular quarterly visits and weekly conference calls for each location.
• Collaborate with District Managers to manage turnover and retention; recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
• Identify opportunities on reports and implement plans to improve performance.
• Resolve customer feedback with timely solutions.
• Protect assets via audits and ensure cash handling compliance with Love’s policies.

The Area Merchandising Manager will help run our business by driving compliance of merchandising processes and procedures, sales coaching, and managing vendor relations.

Job Functions

• Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.

• Collaborate with the District Manager(s) to effectively manage employee turnover and retention. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, assist in development and succession planning of team members.


• Identify areas of opportunity on monthly, weekly, and daily reports and implement plans to correct any issues and improve performance.


• Recognize and resolve customer feedback by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.


• Responsible for protecting company assets with various audit processes and ensure that all cash handling and Love’s policies and procedures are followed by all employees.

• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
