Love's Travel Stops is seeking an Area Merchandising Manager to drive merchandising compliance, coaching, and vendor relations across our district locations in and around Akron, Ohio. You will ensure brand standards are met, oversee training, and steer sales performance.

You will lead regular store visits, collaborate with district leaders, and optimize reporting to improve efficiency and customer experience while protecting company assets and profits.

Competenze

• 2+ years in a district restaurant management position are required.
• 2+ years of budgeting and P&L management experience.
• 2+ years of leading through influence in a multi-unit setting.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks, with possible DOT screening.

The Area Merchandising Manager will help run our business by driving compliance of merchandising processes and procedures, sales coaching, and managing vendor relations.

Job Functions

• Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.


• Conduct regular quarterly visits and weekly conference calls for each location.


• Collaborate with the District Manager(s) to effectively manage employee turnover and retention. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, assist in development and succession planning of team members.


• Identify areas of opportunity on monthly, weekly, and daily reports and implement plans to correct any issues and improve performance.


• Recognize and resolve customer feedback by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.


• Responsible for protecting company assets with various audit processes and ensure that all cash handling and Love’s policies and procedures are followed by all employees.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a district restaurant management position required.


• 2+ years deciphering and impacting budgets and P&L statements.


• 2+ years leading through influence in a multi-unit setting.


• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
