Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Michigan to lead 50–100 hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will motivate, mentor, and develop your team while driving safety, quality, and productivity on the floor.

You’ll work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a fixed 4-day schedule at many sites, and you’ll oversee inbound/outbound deliveries, pallet jack operations, and on-the-floor problem solving to meet daily goals and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in progress or completed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service mindset and ability to work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 50–100 hourly associates.
• Operate in an autonomous, fast-paced environment.
• Manage shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Oversee deliveries, sort packages, and operate PIT equipment.
• Maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance standards.
• Provide on-floor leadership and communicate shift priorities.
