Job summary

Amazon is seeking Area Managers for Michigan & Illinois for recent and upcoming graduates. This full-time, entry-level role is located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers or other operations buildings.

You will lead a team of hourly associates, focusing on safety, quality and performance. Key duties include mentoring 50–100 direct reports, standing and walking during shifts up to 12 hours, and coordinating with a roughly four-day schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed with a typical 4‑day work week.
• Oversee operations, safety, quality, attendance and performance.
• Operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
