Amazon.com Services LLC in Lansing, MI is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, HR, and Quality to meet delivery promises and customer expectations.

The role requires flexibility across shifts, weekend hours, and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds in a dynamic, sometimes outdoor environment. Strong people management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment with variable temperatures and noise (delivery stations may be outside).
