Diversified Maintenance is seeking an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff across assigned sites and ensure top-quality service within budget. The role focuses on customer satisfaction through timely, quality delivery.

The Area Manager will lead hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews while maintaining strong client relationships and adherence to company principles. This is a full-time management position based in Florida.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial.
• Business-level English written and spoken communication.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Hire and place janitorial personnel; manage performance and development.
• Represent the company values and culture at sites.
• Assign duties, inspect cleanliness, ensure quality within budget.
• Create work schedules and manage labor budgets.
• Conduct orientation and safety training for hourly staff.
• Prepare timesheets, reports, and orders.
• Build relationships with customers through regular site visits.
• Address issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Monitor accounts for new work opportunities and contract expansion.
• Ensure Quality Control site visits are completed.
• Support accounts at sites to meet customer needs.
