Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial.
• Business level oral and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service skills; active listening skills.
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Selection and placement of janitorial personnel; hiring decisions and performance appraisals.
• Understand and champion the company's strategic principles, core values and people culture.
• Assign duties and inspect work for cleanliness and completion; review work performed for quality.
• Manage schedules and ensure the account stays within labor budgets.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff.
• Prepare and review time sheets, reports, and training records.
• Foster open communication and coach employees to empower success.
• Build relationships with customers by visiting accounts to ensure service quality.
• Resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Document customer contacts and follow through to resolve concerns.
