Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff at assigned sites and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service on time within budget.

You will lead scheduling, training, and paperwork while maintaining strong client relationships through regular site visits and proactive issue resolution. Strong English communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a service-related industry (janitorial preferred).
• Business level written and spoken English required.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service and active listening skills; ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; manage performance and development.
• Understand and champion company values and culture.
• Assign duties, inspect work, and ensure quality service within budget.
• Create schedules and ensure labor cost targets are met.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training.
• Prepare and review time sheets, reports, and work orders.
• Maintain communication with customers and resolve issues promptly.
• Visit accounts regularly to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
